# Terms of Service

## Terms of Service

**PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY**

Last updated: 30 September 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Free Phishing Email Analysis service at <https://keepnetlabs.com/free-phishing-email-analysis> (the "Service"), provided by Keepnet Labs Ltd ("Keepnet", "we", "us" or "our"). By uploading a file to the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

### 1. The Service

1.1 The Service analyses suspicious emails you upload (.eml or .msg, up to 10 MB) using Keepnet's analysis engines, AI models and third-party threat analysis engines, and shows you the results.

1.2 The Service is free and does not require an account. We may change, limit or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time.

### 2. What you may submit

2.1 You may only submit emails that you have the right to share with us.

2.2 You are responsible for the contents of your submissions. Please remove any personal data that you do not need analysed, and do not submit special category data, other people's confidential information, or information you are legally required to protect.

### 3. Acceptable use

3.1 You must not:

(a) use the Service in breach of any applicable law;

(b) submit files in bulk or by automated means, or exceed reasonable use limits;

(c) attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, scan or test the vulnerability of, or gain unauthorised access to, the Service, our Site or its infrastructure, or breach or bypass any security measure, without Keepnet's prior written authorisation, as set out in the [Keepnet Security Policy](https://doc.keepnetlabs.com/legal-hub/for-everyone/security-policy);

(d) reverse engineer, copy or scrape the Service or its results; or

(e) use the Service or its results to build or train a competing product or service.

3.2 We may block or suspend access to the Service if we believe you have breached these Terms.

### 4. Your submissions

4.1 You keep all rights you have in your submissions.

4.2 You grant Keepnet a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, analyse and process your submissions, and to share indicators extracted from them with threat analysis engines, as needed to provide the Service and to improve Keepnet's threat detection.

4.3 We do not publish your submissions or analysis results.

### 5. Analysis results

5.1 Results are provided for information only. Threat detection is not perfect, and a result may be incomplete or inaccurate. You remain responsible for your own security decisions.

### 6. Keepnet's rights

6.1 Keepnet and its licensors own all rights in the Service, including its software, analysis engines and report formats. These Terms do not grant you any rights in them other than to use the Service as set out here.

### 7. Disclaimers

7.1 The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keepnet makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

### 8. Limitation of liability

8.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keepnet will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or business, arising from your use of the Service.

8.2 Keepnet's total liability arising from the Service will not exceed GBP 100.

8.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

### 9. Changes to these Terms

9.1 We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

### 10. Governing law

10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

### 11. Contact

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://doc.keepnetlabs.com/legal-hub/for-everyone/free-phishing-email-analysis/terms-of-service.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
